Is wdvw9716.exe Bad?

This is some kind of Word97 viewer I have on my desktop. I tried to delete it, but it says it's being used by another program. Checked Task Manager and didn't see anything strange. Can I delete this in Safe Mode, or is it really needed?

A quick google search (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=wdvw9716.exe&meta=) shows wdvw9716.exe to be harmless. Whether or not you need the file i'm not sure but if you don't then you can delete it from safe mode. Read this first (http://www.pesticides.gov.uk/psd_databases.asp?id=706)
