windows xp style

well i had some spyware recently and i took care of it thanks to this website but it seems somehow that my windows xp style for like the start bar and the other things (where the start button is green and the rest is blue) was deleted from my system... is there any way of getting this back?

You'll have to see that the Windows' Themes service is [still] running. To do this type services.msc in the run dialogue. This will open the Services panel. Look for the service named Themes. Check the services status. If it's disabled you can enable it by right-clicking it and selecting properties. Now change the startup type to Automatic and go ahead and click Start. Now open up the Display Properties window and you should have the option to select the Windows XP theme.
