Everytime I see that Mulan is on the disney channel, I have to watch it. It's just such an awesome movie. I'd have to say either Mulan or The Lion King are my favorites. What about you?

Off the top of my head, I'd have to say Remember The Titans. Love that movie.
None because they all assrape history.

Clearly. Simba wasn't Mufasa's son, but his grandson. The missing generation in The Lion King has been the subject of many heated debates, as well as condemnation from the SfHAoAFIoFoLaL (Society for Historical Accuracy of Animated Films Involving or Focusing on Lions and Lionesses).

Pinocchio and Snow white. I know there showing their age a bit (as am I) but they're better than any of the newer ones.

No, no, no. Like Pocahontas and Anastasia.
Fantasia
Bambi (but I prefer Bambi meets Godzilla or even son of bambi meets Godzilla)
The Jungle Book (I often sing "Bear neccesities" to myself)
No, no, no. Like Pocahontas and Anastasia.
Anastasia was made by 20th Century Fox, it is not a Disney film
they also made Titan A.E

Lion King was great back in the days. I still like that song "Hakunamatata" or something :D.

The Love Bug was my favorite Disney movie when I was a kid. Now, they're coming out with some really good CGI stuff - some of the jokes in Toy Story make it pretty clear it wasn't just for kids... ;)

Lilo and Stitch! The comedy was dark and "adult" at times, and it truly is a very funny movie.

I'd say probably The Lion King. Not 1 and a half, or 2, but just 1. We played a big medley of those songs for band this year, was very cool.
I still find it creepy all the things they slip in, though, throughout many movies.

Monsters Inc. Was a disney / Pixar Its by far my favorite

I'd exclude Pixar from my list of hated as well because I don't think Pixar when I think Disney.
Nomad, just admit that you're jadded and wrong, and pick a non-historically based Disney movie as your favorite :P ;)
For me, it's gotta be Atlantis. I've always liked the idea of Atlantis, and I think they make a good story of it... It's also the only Disney movie I know of where hundreds of people die violently...
...not that I like it when people die violently, it's just something that makes it unique among Disney's films.

I would have to say that Aladin is one of my favorite Disney movies. Just can't beat Robin Williams as a big blue genie.
I really liked the Toy Story movies also.
What you mean about creepy stuff they sneak in? Or am I just oblivious and naive?

Reading that "sentence" made me want to hurt someone. Possibly myself - more likely you.
Seriously - care to give some reason behind your opinion? Something like - "I find the plots to be uninteresting, and only entertaining to a much younger crowd" rather than "OMG disney suxxors. pr0n r0xXorZZ."

Hey guys, this supposed to be a light-hearted thread, for Goodness sake! Chill!
Xander - you are right on the money: 1) Aladin, 2) Toy Story. I've been watching Disney movies since the early 60's. They've got class and sass that they didn't have before.

I agree with leonardo. I said nothing to offend anyone else or their opinons. If you're just going to diss on other people's opinions, then keeps yours to yourself. I said nothing about porn thank you.

Fine.
Pilotwings, would you care to enlighten us as to why you feel the way that you expressed with such a careful choice of words. Do you feel that the "suckiness" of a Dyson could possibly be exceeded by a different film company's work, or do they all have some sort of looser suckiness as compared to disney?
As for what you did to elicit my comment - my thread was about what people's favorite disney movie was. You posted something that added absolutey NOTHING to the conversation. And you misspelt "loses".
I wasn't "dissing on your opinion", but the manner in which you expressed it.

Fine. Disney is the best thing to ever happen to this world. I hope we never LOSE Disney's wonderful movies. Although every movie has aduly innuendo, I guess its still an enchanting experience for young children to be exposed to.

Pilotwings, would you care to enlighten us as to why you feel the way that you expressed with such a careful choice of words. When constructing a sentence in the interrogative form, proper punctuation must be affixed on the end. In this case, you left out the "?" symbol.
Here (http://www.say-it-in-english.com/Lesson20.html) is a wonderful Elementary-Level online tutorial to help you with this. Proper English and punctuation are very important these days. Read up!

you still don't get it. I don't think your opinion is wrong. I just think you could add much more to the discussion than just saying it sucks.

Double-spacing is for the older generation. You don't want to be perceived as that, do you?
Reading that "sentence" made me want to hurt someone. Possibly myself - more likely you.
That didn't strike me as wanting me to add more detail to the discussion.

But Toy Story is not Disney - it's Pixar

I think Pixar is a Disney company.
EDIT: no I was wrong. In partnership with Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar created and produced Toy Story (1995), A Bug's Life (1998), Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters, Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003) and The Incredibles (2004).

Althought Pixar used to be a subsidiary, it's stories and FX department is completely separate.

Correct - Disney had a partnership deal to do with distribution - Pixar had 100% creative control of it's projects, so I would definetly not term these films "Disney" creations - Pixar split with Disney over the way income was distributed - Pixar claimed that Disney was making too much claim and over licencing intellectual property owned by Pixar.
Not the 1st time Disney has done such and I am sure not the last.

Hmm, prolly The Lion King.
Is Spirit: Stallion Of The Simeron (or whatever) a Disney Flick? That was good.
Shrek 2 rocked for pixar. That movie is prolly the best Pixar flick... Next to Madagascar....
Probably Lion King, but as a matter of standard, I generally dislike Disney productions.

I love Aladdin. It's a brilliant story and Robin Williams is excellent.
Other notable Disney films are Lion King which I went to the cinema to see with my then girlfriend when I was about 13. And Little Mermaid cos I love the 'Under the Sea' song.
And Arial is fit. I have issues ;D.

Hmm I'm sure Shrek isn't a Pixar film. I can't be arsed to look it up though, England are beating Wales 1-0 in the football.
