Please this does not belong here. First we do not allow Ebay sales and second it is not even your sale.

He wasn't posting a link to his auction. I think he was pointing out that somebody is overcharging for a monitor on ebay. Post properly moved to the pub.

Yeah, that, and it's not an auction. It's a static price sale that happens to be on Ebay, so even if it was his, it doesn't violate the rules.

It was on the wrong board, but it didn't deserve a beratement...

And Pilotwings:

Sombody will likely buy it eventually. People pay too much for stuff all the time...

THANK YOU!! omg its like moderator attack wars here..

It IS a fixed-price item, and Its not my auction! that one-liner rule does not cover, in detail, every aspect of posting an eBay link. I think if all the moderators are going to lock down so much on eBay links, then there needs to be an ammendment to the rules.

Chill out a little, dude....

Go to this link:

http://shopper.cnet.com/Samsung_SyncMaster_710_MP/4014-3174_9-30628329.html

Depending on where you buy it, the price ranges from $299 to $613.

$450 seems to be right around the middle of that range.

It's not the best price for that item, but it is not the worst. It pays to shop around, but some peope don't know where else to look, or they have the money to spend and aren't concerned about getting the best price every time.

Hey look at that, it is too.......well I just googled the 710, so that's why it came up that way. :)

haha no prob :)

I think its much more of a waste of money to try and sell a highly overpriced item on ebay (sellers fees etc.), than it would be to sell a bunch of normally-priced (or MORE normally-priced) ones.

I guess they figured people wouldn't be reading so much into it.
