Maybe I'm overstepping my boundries here, but you've got five threads you created on JUST the first page here. Slow down, dude :)

lmao thanks for telling me. yeah i better slow down :wow2:
A guy at my school for my CISCO class bought that--or something that looked exactly like that--for a project, I thought it wasn't all that impressive.

really? I've talked to a few people that really do like it. There are many many positive reviews and votes on NewEgg too. Cases are sort of Like or Don't Like- You like a particular case or you don't. And thats fine. Its interesting for me to see what everyone's choices in cases are.
For me cases aren't a high priority, I still have 2 rigs w/out a case.
Not bad looking, just not for me.

As Donut said, it's not bad, but I don't think I'd get one.

You're running systems without cases?... Are the components just lieing around on the floor with wires between them?

Verily, my sense of awe is overwhelming my body. I must sit down to breathe.
I'm more of a fan of functional cases, rather than lookers.
I also don't go ga ga ovr cases - especially ANY leds on a case - for god sakes it's a computer not a night club in the red light district of town.
What is this with people who want their machine to "glow" I can think of nothing more distracting.
Beige box is all I need as long as the components inside kick arse ....
I had the same issue when I went looking for a stereo for my nephews room, he wanted something that would do a fair bit for his room - all the systems that had the features he wanted all had lights more suited for landing 747's, not for having some music playing whilst he lay in a darkened room resting.. ended up buying him a hgher end system than we expected just to get away from the disco lights....
I also recently bought a netgear router with the higher range antenna system - it currently has a big wad of black gafffa tape on it to block the annoying disco light effect it has ... urgh

In the last few months I've gotten really sick of my case. It's not bad, certainly not overly flashy, but still. I agree with you, tcith, anymore computers I build (hopefully one sometime next year) will no have one single thing that lights up. Also, it's going to be damn well silent. I read a review last week on how to take a high end system (SLi, too) and make it extremely silent (7 fans and barely audible). That's what I want. And maybe a Lian-Li, just because it's clean looking without being flashy.

haha i understand what you're saying and I can relate to it, but personally I like the lights. It could be because I'm probably a lot younger? Not sure, but maybe the younger generation just tends to like lights more than the older.

I'm almost 17, and I'm sick of the lights already. I used to have three or four blue LED fans. It actually made me sleep horrible, not from the noise, but just from the lights. I've got it down to ONE that I can't yank out of my powersupply. I wish I could get it, cuz I have to rotate my chair to block the light going into my eyes. Stupid thing :(
Partly, I think it depends on your situation. I never thought I'd waste money on lights, til I found one for $2. a single blue light behind the window of my case is okay. it's soft, not very bright, and it does look kind of neat...
If I was still at the stage of life where I kept my computer in my bedroom, I would never do any such thing...

Don't listen to the general populous about led's. I'm 58 and think they look alright.
Just to prove a point. :D

I saw the Tsunami at PC Club and wasn't that impressed. The door's finish isn't that nice and looks cheap compared to the chassis. The silk screened logo is out of place and ugly. Save your money and buy a nice Lian Li if you want a good case. This one is just bad eyecandy.

You know what's surprising? The lighted ATA cable looks cool, but it's that white one that really stands out. I'll have to see if I can get some of those
About the Tt case - looks cool, but the logo on front does look out of place. If it was available without the Tt fans I'd be more tempted. I'm sure they'd perform well, but I've got to have quiet rigs. Vantec Stealths all the way :D

I think the LED/CCFLs look neat, if you can find something original to do with them and your case is neatly wired.

I never understood the point of having a window on the case with lights. Tony has some kind of crazy "50 Watts of CCT light" fettish going on. I wouldn't be able to stand it.

Nah, 1 rig has been up for like 7 mos. I consider the closet one big case.
Let me describe, closet is about 3'x3' with shelves, 2 rigs w/cases on floor, 2 on 1 shelf.
monitor,kb,mouse on another. upper shelves, misc. parts.
Ok, you can have the topic back now. :D
