I never prank-called people in my early teens, or now.. I have better things to do with my time than annoy random people.

//EDIT:

roflolololololz omg so funny!!

I don't care for annoying random people either.

If I set out to annoy someone it's always a specific person for a specific reason. There's nothing random about it. :ninja:

Same here. Never made them.

We used to get prank called when I was in 4th grade. My mom would pick up the phone and say in her most awesomest tone "9-11 dispatch. What is the nature of your emergency?" And then the kids would freak out cuz every idiot knows that if you prank call the police, they'll send a patrol car to your house and you'll get a stern lecture from the cops. And she'd milk it for everything it was worth.

The closest thing to a prank call I ever performed follows:

This was when cell phones were still pretty new on the consumer market, and when you called people there was still usually no caller ID, and people assumed you were calling from home (unless they could hear static and such, then they would say "Are you on a mobile phone?" and I would say "No, it's pretty much in one place for now" (that's not the joke I'm getting to (in fact that's not (aside) even very funny.)))

Anyway here's the gag:

When invited for a party, I would call someone on my cell phone as I was approaching their front door. On the line, I would be very regretful, "I'm sorry I didn't call sooner... Look I'm just not going to be able to make it to your party...".

We would talk for a minute, then after the call ended, and they had enough time to tell the other guests who had been on the line, and why, I would knock on the door. When they answered, they would normally be flabbergasted. No questions about getting there so fast, no exclamations, just speechless. I would then fervently deny ever having called at all, to the host, and especially to the other guests. It doesn't seem funny, but it was. I did this to just about everybody I knew, at least once.

Remember kids: This only worked at all because very few people had mobile phones at the time, and they didn't think of the possibility until later in the evening. If you were to try this trick at the next party you were invited to, the host would open the door, and simply say, "You're an idiot."

LOL... yeah i admit. When i was younger... like 14. We would prank call people like at 1:00AM wich made it even more hilarious. You know what makes a prank even more hilarious? when you get another moron on the other line that actually thinks they know you and stuff... like and you actually start a conversation with them, then you end up actually saying sorry and that it was a prank call, but it was fun talking to you and that youd call back again. LMAO

Yes... i admit... im not too good at those prank calls... :(

yeah, but that was about 4 years ago.. so havent done it in a while.

Never prank-called anyone, nor did I have an interest. It's a waste of time. I had better things to do.

Ive made a lot of prank calls. One time I called this car dealership (I was visiting a friend at a competing car dealership across the street) and started hagleing the guy about a VW bug, any I ended the call with "Does the rear defrost work? Yea? Good at least I know my hands will stay warm when Im pushing that piece of **** around in the winter time." I couldnt go on any longer cause we were laughing so hard our eyes were watering and I couldnt talk any more.

I also like annoying random people. They get so worked up over the smallest things.

Keep in mind I live in Iowa, so its not like there is a ton of stuff for kids to do here. Like go hang out on the white sandy beaches of Florida all day ;D
