Okay! So... I can make single houses, but that's all I know how. I have so many houses my villagers don't even LIVE in 3/4ths of them and their civic building request is still 94%

What do I do and how do I do it?

Thanks!

Civic buildings are not houses. To make a large house, you combine two scaffoldings (drop one on top of the other and it will grow). To make a civic building, combine three scaffoldings. Depending on where you drop the "3 box", it will become either a graveyard, a village center, a creche, or a workshop.

Generally you want to go in this order: Creche, workshop, graveyard.

Never played Black & White but it seems tom have survived for a few years, so... is it a good game?

It's the closest I think I could get to an RTS game and actually still like it. It's pretty fun.

I've heard some great things about it as well. I might give it a whirl. I heard it was buggy as all hell though, is this still true?

Well, I played it from beginning to end and I will say this: Save often. There was a bug with quicksaving that would not only cause you to crash to the desktop, but also corrupt your savegame!

When I started over, and started from the beginning with a patched (1.2, NOT 1.3 patch) version, I played through the whole thing just fine.

It is a fun game though. Give it a whirl in preparation for Black and White 2 :)

I loved black and white! Definatly give it a whirl. It's a cheap game, the bugs are ignorable, and it's fun to train a giant monkey to throw poop at villagers :D
