i have an mp3 player that i want to use through my car stereo. the stereo has a tape player, but i hate the hiss. I looked at some of those fm tuners like the tunecast but most reviews I've read on those things say they produce static. So i thought why not get a new car stereo with a line-in jack on the front. I'll eventually get one of those, but not for a couple months since I want to buy a new car soon. I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with the factory stereo. It sucks, sounds pretty crappy, but the radio stations in south florida suck, so I always bring along the MP3 player and use the tape adaper thing. I'm thinking there's gotta be a way to splice in some kind of line-in adapter thingy on the back of the stereo somehow no? Any ideas?
