First attepmt at photo-sketch transform

This is a picture that I took last night with the family. It is my cousin's little girl.

I loaded it up in photoshop (which I'm a n00b at so far ) and tried my hand at making it look like a drawing. My family loved it and wanted it printed out to frame.

I have included the original and sketch photo to compare.

haha - it makes the fish look like it might be real, rather than the stuffed thing in the unchanged picture :)

thats interesting how things in the background (such as the woman's purse) show up in the sketch, but aren't visible to me in the original picture.
