I have a new site and have just added an arcade to it...thats correct, an arcade! :D

Anyways, for people to play any game they need to allow cookies by setting their privacy to LOW in Internet Options.

I just want to know what the security risk is in doing this?

Thanks

That's a pretty high risk. Can't they just add your site to the Trusted Sites zones?

The biggest, most dangerous difference between 'low' and 'medium' is that in 'low' you don't get the 'aproove this certificate' dialog box, things can just install themselves without asking... That is a big risk, and I wouldn't recommend that anyone do it.

They should be able to enable cookies in the 'advanced' dialog box under security options, but I think that 'medium' already allows cookies...

Hey CB, I couldn't see an option to enable cookie. But, its okay!

SS, I put the site in trusted zone and it does work while your using that session of IE. But, when you open a new IE browser, your unable to play the games.

I've set a warning on the site anways, so it should be OK. On the other hand the games work in Firefox :p

Thanks guys...

Just for future reference, then:

Depending on your browser:

For Firefox, it's right in the Privacy Options screen.

For IE it's in the advanced privacy settings, from the Privacy tab in the Internet Options dialog.

Is that for Low or Medium Priority in IE? Or is it for both?

Thanks for the reference :)

It's for customizing. Low. Medium, and High security are basically just three different sets of defaults for your security settings. You can go through and change all of the individual settings, as well, creating a custom security level...

Thanks CB, that worked. I customized the way you said above in Medium Privacy and it worked
