Ok, my norton is expiring in a few days, should I renew it, or switch to something else? I'm currently using the "Internet Security" package. I use the monitored Mcafee at work, and that works great, but I don't want the cost of the monitored protection. What is the best non-monitored virus protection available today?

Thanks,
Rob

I have been very happy with AVG Free Edition (http://www.majorgeeks.com/AVG_Free_Edition_d886.html) for several years now. Couple that with weekly scans using Spybot and Ad-Aware, throw in the free firewall of your choosing, and you've got the bases covered. :)

Panda Titanium anti-virus is the best out there at the moment. I am currently switching to it myself.

I've also switched most of my computers to AVG Free and it's worked well for me.
