Half-Life 2 Egg

Just wondering if anyone has noticed this egg in Half-Life 2 (I found it by accident, not sure if it is documented anywhere).

Basically when you get to one of the checkpoints along the canals with the air-boat (the bit where a Vortigon attaches a weapon to the boat for you) as you are leaving that scene (just before you get in the boat) you can keep talking to the Vortigon and he has about 5 minutes worth of unique speech and interesting things to say (that aren't said anywhere else in the game).

The vorts can be quite chatty - there is also another in a cave near the dam that you have to raise the gate to jump the boat through

Yeah, i sat there one night to see when the script would run out. There's a LOT of speech there.

I just noticed the one at the NLO outpost in the tactical room goes through the same cycle of speech.
