Yahoo! (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050817/ap_on_hi_te/microsoft_xbox_4) news reports that, as rumored earlier, there will be multiple versions of the Xbox 360 console released - including a version sans hard drive. Microsoft has set initial pricing at $299.99 for the "Core System" and $399.99 for the "Premium System."
Various accessories, like a 20-gigabyte detachable hard drive and wireless controller that will come standard with the premium version, will be sold separately and can be added to the less expensive "core" console.
