bf 2 AA problem

i was playing bf 2 last night and i noticed that my AA is horible i have it up to 4x thats the highest i can get it to and there is those jaggy lines all over the place be4 it was working fine i just noticed it last night i think it happend randomly i reinstalled the game video card driver and REFORMATED! wat now =[

amd atlon 3500+ asus a8n sli deluxe 1 gb corsair xms twin pack raptor 74 gb hdd 7800 GTX video card

When I overclocked my card too high, I had a similar problem which is why I keep asking.

yes, but i don't see any artifacts..

im not talkin about artifacts... im talkin about the jaggy lines on the floors and the plane shadows i never had those... i have the Anta anitialsing to 4x still it happens never happend before

Adjust your lighting settings

Right click on your desktop and Hit 'Properties' > 'Settings' > 'Advanced' > 'GeForce 7800GTX' (or whatever tab is for your GPU settings)

Then hit 'Performance and Quality Settings' and under 'View' hit 'Advanced Settings'. Make sure everything in that list that can be set to 'Application Controlled' is set to 'Application Controlled'. On the quality settings, choose 'Best Quality' for each of them.

i will try 2 make it easier 2 understand right click on ur dektop and hit properties setting advanced geforce 7800 GTX or whatever tab is for your GPU settingz then hits performance and quality settings and under view smack advanced settingz make sure evryting in dat list that can be set to application controlled is set2 application controlled on the quality setting choose best quality for each of dem

shadows are controlled in the game, change the shadows to dynamic or somthing, i dont have the game installed so i dont know what its called
