no line sync

i can get line sync n connection with my speedtouch modem but no line sync with my binatone 2000 modem(which i need 4 home networking) any ideas greatly appreciated...thanks.

Some modems need a special cord to wall, with green and red reversed in cord from end to end. I have had this happen over the years, where a modem is not rigged inside to do a polarity inversion inside itself-- so it could be just the cord. Other than that siomple idea, I do not know enough about these specific models to say more. I use USR modems here, or Zoom, and modern ones of both brands will not care about the cord.
