Has anyone seen or spoken to Geeky in the last few weeks? I noticed a sudden absence from AIM and he hasn't posted anything on any of the IC sites in the last 2 weeks. Anyone seen him?

I'm aware he doesn't browse SM anymore due to an "incident" but I was hoping that someone from here may have spoken to him.

I haven't heard from him - usually he'll IM me some random links here and there. His absence may be related to it being back-to-school time again, though.

Isn't he on a trip or something. Last time he IM'ed it was before he had to go to the airport. I guess it's a long trip or the FAA banned him from flying cause they found a suspicious furry in his bag ;D

I just IM'ed with him. He said he'd been without the internet for a whole week and survived! ;D

yeah, mr. geeks was on a cruise, so thats why he wasnt on AIM, but hes back now!

Yes, I was on the Radisson Seven Seas Mariner in Alaska for a week. Sailed from Vancouver to Seward, with stops at Sitka and Skagway and a number of other places along the way.

No internet access because I refused to pay (or allow my parents/grandparents to pay) $0.75/minute for it... I simply wouldn't do it. I did, however, take ~3500 pics (15gb of 8mp .jpgs).

You can download a .zip with ~80 of them resized to 800x600 and treated in PS for color and lighting here:
