View Full Version : Desktop board capable of 1.35vcore for mobile amds?
Does anyone know of any boards that are capable of 1.35v (rather than 1.5+) minimum voltage? I would ideally like to avoid Asus, but that is just for my purchase, not suggestions and information I take in from you smart guys/gals.

Are you looking at Socket A, S754 or S939?

Google says Asus a7n8x (rev 2 with the latest bios) can take athlon mobiles up to 1.825V.
...but does it say it can take them down to 1.35v?

I would imagine you won't be able to find one. My NF7s r2 lets me bring it down to 1.45 I think, even though my cpu never draws mroe than 1.40-1.42.

You think? Can you check that for me? That is the board I thought could do it after looking around at online reviews. If it can't I will still have to look around, but if it can it is the board I want.
i can reboot my NF7-Sv2 and see how low the vCore goes....gimme a few
just checked and cpu vcore goes from 1.10v - 2.30v
im using a modded bios tho
well then, can you tell me where you got your bios or where a good place is to get modded ones. And do a lot of them cause problems or anything, or for the most part are they better?
