linksys pci instant wireless-b card just died

im working on a client's computer, and in the process of attempting to get better reception, we repositioned the pc. after doing so the wireless adaptor disapeared from the network connections window and totally stoped working. it still shows up in device manager with a device cannot start code 10 message. i tried reinstalling the drivers, reinserting the card, and screaming and giving it dirty looks. nothing seems to be working. this is a house call, so i need quick assistance. thanks

power down. Remove card. power on. Go into safe mode and in the device manager make usre "show hidden devices" is enabled.

Remove all the old ghost entries for the old crap.

Power down. If this is a card PUT IT IN A DEFFERANT SLOT. Power on and try again.
