NEED HELP - Problem with elite toolbar

Hi im new here...

im using acer travelmate 250. My computer is very slow and i keep getting pop-ups even when im offline (i used dial-up). My problem comes when i get elite toolbar. I select uninstalled. And it said that i had to download some uninstaller, i did, i run it but after that my computer seems to be broken hehehe..

first, after using about 10minutes, my norton isnt working. It told me that i had to reinstalled it. But the weird thing is when i reboot, i can use norton again.
2nd. Yesterday, i scanned and deleted 105 virus from elitebar *sigh*
3rd. When i open a program (word, powerpoint, winzip, etc), i had to do things like the 1st time i used the program..

what happen to my computer..please help...

Hi :)

First, install and run AdAware and Spybot, according to this thread (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14915).

Then, I want you to run the Ewido security suite:

download Ewido Security Suite (http://www.ewido.net/en/download/)
Install ewido security suite
When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck..
Install background guard
Install scan via context menu

Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop, double-click it.
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
Then click on Start Update.

The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
(the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Now, scan with it.

If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.

After you do that, reboot and post a new log.
