Hello, i have had this problem for a while, first, i do not any desktop icons, they up and disappeard on me all of a sudden, plus the pop-ups are numerous, i mean, if i leave the computer on at ight i wake up with at lease 200 little screens open, which freezes my pc so i have to reboot and it takes forever and such. the nature of these pop-ups are mostly check your pc for viruses, scan now, and sometimes even video commercials that take up all my memory.
the only way i can open programs and thins is by Ctl-Alt-Delete and manipulate my way through to what i need opened.
i tried almost every anti-virus program, and i tried "back-dating" if thats the correct term, nothing worked. any advise as to what i should do?
