I have just burned two CDrs of family pics for safe keeping. What is a good prog for looking at them? Something like winamp does with music, where I could select various folders and view a slideshow.

Windows picture preview can do a pretty good job at doing a slide show.

Try the CD Slide Show Generator (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp) (part of WinXP Powertoys - look down the right-hand column).

Doesn't do a whole lot of fancy stuff, but it is a self-executable, so you can share disks and the recipient can just play 'em.
