SM reguraly drops connection and I get the 'PAGE NOT FOUND' error.

Its Been happening for a while now. Also happened at college when I tried to access SM.

Any ideas why? :scratch:

When you say regularly..? How regularly..? Time of day, that kinda thing..:)

I just checked logs and we have been running spot on for months. Anyone else ? :)

Sometimes between 2200 and 2300 Alaska Standard Time (GMT -9:00) I repeated time out errors when trying to navigate through the forums.

OK! Since the start of the thread, SM went down twice. The logs are below:

1) Went down: 14/10/05 12:30PM GMT Came back: 14/10/05 12:35PM GMT
2) Went down: 15/10/05 02:16AM GMT Came back: 15/10/05 02:18AM GMT

Did you try hitting it by IP, per our conversation the other night?

I tried but I didn't know how to access SM with the IP :o

Just type the IP in the address bar like you would the "normal" address.

instead of typing http://www.short-media.com/forum, type:

http://209.124.56.70/forum/

The IP works when I type in now but I remember typing it when SM went down on me and it took me to MSN search.


The site hasn't gone down for a while which is a good thing :)

Just to update:

Short-Media has not gone done on me :D

More time to browse the forums now :D
