was beyond bored last week so i decided to construct a new entertainment center out of Oak and use nothing but bisquit joints and no screws to make it look professional


this is what i came up with

-I love the tennis ball car-parker in your garage. We used to have those until my friends played with them too much and they broke. :p

haha my friends would think it was a toy or something and just haul off and wack tha hell out of it! That ball would bounce off the ceiling over and over and come crashing down and roll down the driveway :p :p

Thats nothing, There is a folder in the bottom right with up " Backup " copies around 60 f them and also around 10 dvds and a LOST the 1st season are over a friends house

Looks nice. I have about as many DVD's as you and I have a hard time keeping them organized. I need to either modify my current ent. center, or build a new one. My projects always get pushed to the side to work on customer jobs, so I never get around to doing anything for myself.

Here's my current one. I built it about 5 years ago.

Nice madball, I didnt want anything to stylish, Its not my taste, but thats damn good. Me i am a plain clean cut guy who lies things simple and that work good. Not to mention I didnt want to build it around my TV cause it may be a brand new TV but you never know when you get the itch to Upgrade!

you prolly could modify that with a dvd shelf ontop of it

The cavity behind the two doors on the bottom store the DVD's now, but it's hard to find the one you want. I'll probably build a seperate media rack. When I built it I actually had a smaller tv, and when I got this one it just barely fit. When I upgrade to a larger one, I'll just build myself a new center. I've built some for customers that are much nicer than this one. I'll take all the best features from them and make one for myself.

Nice woodworking skills. I really wish I had the skills and tools to build such cool stuff.



Nice DVD collection, but you should see mine... at least 300 (Arrrrgh).Ive stopped adding new ones, cause I can never find what I want to watch with the current mess of them.


Very impressive with the woodworking!

nice woodworking there....how long did the whole thing take? where did you learn?

i have always wanted to build myself a desk, but when i go to check out lumber and materials, it all seems like too much work so i usually end up buying some crapppy pre-fab that doesn't fit my needs.
