Headphone suggestions needed

I need new headphones.

Things they need:
Closed ear (need to block out roomate's noise)
Decent frequency response
Comfortable - need to be able to sleep in them, on my side.

Things I want:
Volume control
The price less than $50

I'm also looking at wireless headphones - I'd pay more for these.

SENNHEISER HD-212 Pro
KOSS PRO-4AAT Studio Monitor Headphones

These are available from many discounters.
The Koss are ugly, but they set the standard for enclosed studio quality phones.
I believe that both of these go for about $60-65.
I still use a 30 year old pair of Koss 4AA's.
I have used the 212's also, they are great.
I am now using Bose with sound cancelation because I travel a lot.
