i just built a computer and was wondering what to do for a OS. my wifes computer has xp on it. it was preloaded and we bought it from my uncle. we don't have the key. i was told that there is a way to recover the key from the system itself. now would i be able to use an xp disk and that cd key on my new computer? if so what program would i use to get the key? thx
