Vga Not supported [Archive]

A friend of mine has a computer that he made the resolution to high and now it says VGA not supported. Then it blinks and then goes back to the same screen then blinks. It Keeps doing the same thing. How can I change the resolution on it when it wont load anything?

Restart the computer and after POST and before you see the Windows splash, hold down F8. Select Safe Mode and press enter. Change the resolution back to what it should be. Restart it and let it go normally. Your problem should be fixed.
