I currently log on to my desktop computer as the adminstrator, and I use a password. I keep forgetting to log off, and the rest of my family is using my computer when i am not around. Is there anyway you can set up a timed log off? FOr example, after 10 or 20 minutes of inactivity it autmatically logs you off? Please let me know asap!! They keep messing up my comp!!

Enable password protection for the screensaver. Once the screensaver kicks in, you can't access the desktop unless you know the password.

i have the monitor set to go on powersave. Can you do it that way or just with a screen saver? Is there a way to have it log me off after a given time of inactivity?

The screensaver method should work just fine, and is probably the way I'd do it.

You can hold down the Windows key and press "L" to force anyone who comes along to log back in. If they don't know the password you should be safe.

If you know you're going to have trouble remembering to do this, see if this program (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/tshutdown.html) (freeware) will take care of it for you. :)

Are you talking screen saver or power save options? I have it set to prompt for password after hibernation in the power save options. I do not see how you can configure anything in the screen saver. HOw do you guys post all the Print screens, do you have to save them and attach them individually?

Also, what is the windows shortcut to toggle from one program to the next on the taskbar?

Switch Among Active Programs On Taskbar = [ALT] + [TAB]

Yes, the print screens are saved and attached individually. Like this one showing what you need to do for your password. Set the monitor to go off after whatever time you like and the screensaver to kick in any time before that.
