Malware problem?

A frined of mine has a problem with Outlook constantly crashing.
I have tried every possible fix I could find & the problem still persists!
Looking at all the junk(?) he has on his computer made me start to wonder if there was another cause to the problem.
I've run the latest versions of Spybot & Adaware, which found nothing.
I'm posting a HijackThis log here to see if any of you guys here could see if there are things present that could be causing this.

Hi.

The HJT log is mostly clean.

Only thing your friend needs to do is go into Add/Remove programs and look for AdwareFilter and/or AdwareFilterToolBar. If found, un-install.

What is the story on that?
It appears to be a program like Spybot or Adaware.
I'm pretty sure he paid for it & will want to know why he should get rid of it.

these apps also have no relation to Ad-aware, however, it's quite clear that they are in fact re-branded versions of the same application. They use the same ref database files, and the scan logs produced by these apps are almost worthless information-wise. In early 2005, Adware Filter got a GUI overhaul, but it remains substantially the same app.

In other words, it is a blatant copy of a legitimate program.
