Hey guys, well I've limited my choices down to the college that I want to go to next fall, Penn State. This means that I have to mail them my decision papers soon with the room/board papers and all that good stuff, along with my conformation of the major I want to be enrolled in.
I've always been fascinated with computers and technology, so since I was about 10 years old I knew I wanted to be somewhere in the computer/tech field. I would like to some day have a job with computer hardware development, or any type of electrical hardware development. Basically any type of pcb, or electrical gadget is interesting to me.
Alright now here comes the big question. If I were to pursue a career in the hardware development field, or something dealing with hardware would you reccommend majoring in computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
From what I've heard, computer engineering is more specific, but electrical engineering is alot more broad of a field, meaning I have a wide variety of jobs that I could get. I would really like to hear from you guys, thanks.
