Best DVD Rom Drive [Archive]

Can someone tell me what is the BEST DVD ROM Drive, NOT BURNER just a DVD Rom Drive, I have looking at the Lite-On 16P9S but everything I read says its LOUD, I would like to know if there is a QUIET, but GOOD one, out there and if so what one, Thank for your time and the help, thanks.

I have tried several and they all seem to be pretty close on noise, including the Liteon. My NEC Burner is much quieter. Right now they are not much more in price than a plain old DVD drive. Go figure!

Something from plextor most of there products are inauditable.
