Windows Media player 9 series

I have Windows Media player 9 series.I play a track ,for instance Dancing in the moonlight by toploader:clap: ,and it sounds like it is coming out of an old fashioned music player.At first I thought it was the speakers but then I played the track in a different player,this time imesh and it sounds perfect. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Did you download the song? If so, was it from Imesh?

Yeah but only use imesh if you always keep your internet security updated and regulary scan your PC.imesh can be a dangerous downloader.

I don't want to use Imesh...been there, done that. Not anymore.


I was suggesting the song probably sounds poor because its downloaded from Imesh.
