THE FREEMAN PC MUSEUM (http://www.thepcmuseum.net/) website has pictures of all the loot. :eek2:
Current bid is $7800, guess that should cover the shipping cost? ;D

It's now at $10,101. I would bet the shipping is at least half of that... I can't imagine getting that shipped.
WINNING BIDDER WILL PAY FOR ALL SHIPPING COST, HANDLING AND PACKAGING FEES! TOTAL COST WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE END OF AUCTION. APPROXIMATE WEIGHT ON THIS LOT IS 6,000 LBS.! ACTUAL WEIGHT WILL BE DETERMINED ONCE ALL ITEMS PUT ON PALLETS AND WEIGHED! HANDLING DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WANT THE COMPUTERS PACKAGED

Hmm very cool indeed. I was hoping to see a ZX81 or a TI-99/4a w speach synth. But still very cool!

I got a feeling it would be much cheaper to go get yourself a U-Haul and just go pick it up yourself than pay to ship 3 tons
Just doing rough estimates:
20 palettes at 300 lbs each.
3 day express saver via fedex.
each skid at palette 3'x3x5'
Shipping: $18899.20

depending on where you are shipping you could do full truckload much cheaper.
You can move a load no problem for about 1.20 per mile + fuel surcharge (appx .18 cents per mile at the moment).
You can do even cheaper than that in reality, that is a rate for going out from your hub, if you have someone trying to get back to your area you could move it for 1.20 per mile.

LOL I highly doubt Fedex would be the carrier of choice for 6,000 lbs ;D
I didn't say it was going to be shipped via fedex. It would go via a corporate carrier or moving agency.

Look to be a bit too advanced to be the 5 1/4" 360k floppy drives.
