What do you think? I ask because I had a sidekick forever that I just dropped in a glass of water about a month ago, and now I'm back to a regualar phone. I used to think that QWERTY keyboards were it, and that nothing was easier or faster, but now I've discovered predictive text and gotten good at it, I use T9, they have a tutorial to help with speed, here: SPAM LINK REMOVED

Not bad... and I'm just about to pop for a QWERTY cell phone to do emailing and still keep it small. Thanks for the link....

I just tried t9, its pretty cool but its annoying when you try to spell out inapropriate words because it doesnt "recognize them". lol

There's a similar thread at http://forums.ic-games.co.uk/showthread.php?t=3833
It's so similar it even has the same spelling mistakes. Copy and paste?

Basing it on 1500 @ month, that works out to be 2.0548 @ hour.:smiles:

That about sums it up for me.
If I have to send a message, I send a voice message. Quick, easy and saves the 5 thumbs I have on each hand :D

Hm. On my phone you can enter words into the T9 dictionary. I've got it all programmed for my filthy mouth. I think that's true of most versions of T9, but I guess it's different on every phone.

I wish I'd had texting when I was in high school, I envy them youngsters.

You guys are right. abortretryfail, aka war_criminal, aka probably some other names, is a paid spammer.

These people are paid to infiltrate forums, make a few chatty posts (like our friend abortretryfail's "ladies drinks" thread), and then slide a link in every once in a while. For my other friends at other sites, this is what I dug up:

This person has two identities on short-media (a bannable offense, thus "she" has been banned):

abortretryfail, at diabolita23@yahoo.com
war_criminal, at Giant1685@aol.com

This person has signed on with at least three different IPs from california:

67.188.231.24
24.7.14.198
69.12.129.76

I am IP banning all three. My friends at icrontic, ic_games, and other sites that are part of our extended family may want to check into these IPs to see if you have multiple users with them as well. :)
