What is a 120/240 UPS

Hello,

I am trying to get information on a UPS. On the specifications it said that the input voltage to the UPS was

120/240 volts? What does that mean?

120 in north america, 240 for europe. Just the same as a power supply, they're usually switchable for both markets.

means it'll take either 120volts - standard north american outlet or 240 european.
