Isn't Cheradenine Zakalwe a character from a scifi novel named "use of weapons" from Lain Bank? I've been suggested to read that book.
Are both names from that book?

Of course, Elethiomel seams like a female name, and maybe elvish, so it can be a fantasy book instead for that one.

Zakalwe is of course, Cheradenine Zakalwe. Elethiomel is also a male name from the book. Skaffen-Amtiskaw is a drone from that book (hence the reason it's the name of my notebook) and Darckense is the name of Cheradenine's sister.

The book is Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks. It is my #1 favorite novel.

If anybody is curious, he proposed a SBLive 5.1 plus a copy of the book as grand prize.

Which would actually save my day as I am soundless since my audio board's amplifier is kinda dead and I need to boost signal like hell to even hear small things.

As for the book, having my own will def. help in reading it as this way I don't have to borrow it :)

Mars, enjoy, and I'm glad you've got it. I wish I could open a store, I love finding good hardware for people on the cheap, and I love building PCs... but the profit margin is WAAAAY to low to for me to open a store. Arg.
