View Full Version : Best Wireless Router
Hi,
I need to buy a router for my business. I already have a Netgear MIMO router. I need one that has a larger range than that. Please link to the product page or give me the exact name. I would like to go buy it now so please awnser ASAP.
So much for the "Emergency" section. Anyway I got a Linksys WRT54GX2 access point, got it setup with a (800 ft  ) cable and it works fine.

USR stuff has the most output power for a user grade off the shelf.
I've put a lot of them in and they are very solid and stable. Just their FW is pretty plain and simple looking.
5461 is the router model, 5451 is the AP.
Also I have used the Hawking Power booster and they kick butt.
100mw, 200mw, or 500mw. Considering the average home unit runs 18mw to 50mw they give it a huge boost.
USR stuff is 100mw to 120mw out of the box by the way.
