More specifically SATA backplanes. I'm looking at this enclosure: Linky (http://www.span.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=4124) and it seems in my mind that this allows you to connect 4 SATA drives to one port on your controller.... is that right or have I got the wrong end of the stick? If it's right it could save me a lot of cash, I could just buy one of these and a 2 port SATA controller and instantly solve my storage woes.
