6600gt Or 6800xt? [Archive]

Hey, just thinking about purchasing a new PCI-E graphics card and i'm wondering which card is better. The two i'm looking at are the 6600GT and the 6800XT, both having 256MB of DDR3 RAM.

What about the 6800GS? It should cost less than the XT.
Both 68's are faster than the 66.

I own a 6800GS which is a nice card. It is the third best card in the 6800 series, second to the Ultra and GT models. The XT IMO is a lower binned card, and should be avoided. The 6600GT was a good buy last year but is no longer current enough to be worth it's price.
