Ok, here at work, one of our 512MB Axiom USB Stealth Drives has some how become write protected. I can't write to or delete files off of it. Also, when copying all the files off of it I kept getting errors saying that the drive is write protected (Windows generated error) but if I hit continue (other options were try again and cancel) it appears to have copied the file. This drive does not have any type of hardware lock (switch, button, etc...) and I can't find any type of option in Windows. I have tried the drive in no less than 3 known good computers. Anyone have any suggestions?

Our machines are all running WinXP and the problem has carried across all the machines.

There are several solutions listed in this (http://www.techspot.com/vb/all/windows/t-18654-USB-Flash-Drive-Write-protection.html) thread off-site, however it may simply be that your flash drive has gone bad.

Thrax, I'm glad I refreshed this page - I was about to post the exact same link. ;D

Good luck, nekromancerus. :)
