I've been outta the pc world for like a yr and 1/2, and things have changed alot, so I'm asking and learning again it seems.
My settings are as follows in ccc, was wondering if they were pretty well rounded good settings. I'm playing games like HL2, COD2, soon to play Oblivion in about a week.
Settings are as follows:
16x HQ af, 2x temperal aa, adaptive performance aa, support dx textures, force 24 bit zbuffer, trillinear, mipmap detail level high quality, 1280x960x32 res

In Cod2 and Hl2, I seem to run smooth and things look really nice and detailed, just wondering if there was somthing else I could set that would boost visuals, and not loose speed, as I'm about topped on speed if I up to say 4xaa, I think it'd be a bit to much and slow the games down to much.

That all depends on the game you play and the engine it's based on. Nobody can figure out the best in game detail settings for your system other than you.
