October 7 has arrived. Who would you vote for?

Tom McClintock.
But I'm in TX so I can't vote. I know he probably has about as much chance of winning as a snow ball has in hell but I still like the guy.

McClintock is the better candidate, but there's no way he'd ever win. If I lived in Cali, I'd vote for Arnold. Better to get 70% of what you want (arnold) than to vote for 100% (mcclintock) and get 0% (bustamante).

Wow. No Democrats here. Or at least none that don't prefer Arnold.

In an ideal world, McClintock. He's the best candidate, but he has no chance whatsoever. Davis is an incompetent @sshole who deserves to be recalled, and Bustamante is, if anything, worse than Davis is. Electing Bustamante would be tantamount to erecting an 800' tall blinking neon "open" sign and putting out a welcome mat at the CA/Mexico border. The guy is so far to the left that he truly disgusts me. So, that leaves Arnold. I'm not real confident that he's got the ability to run the state, but I'd rather have him than Davis or Bustamante, and as I said, McClintock has no chance. So, Arnold it is.

Look @ this.
I say McClintock.
DOSMAN says McClintock.
Geeky1 says McClintock.
McClintock actually would have a chance (not sure he could win, but he'd at least HAVE A CHANCE) if the people that feel he's best actually would cast a vote for him rather than casting it for Arnold thinking that's the only way to not throw away a vote.

You're right, but I can't vote, and most of the people that favor McClintock wouldn't vote for him over Schwarzenegger... if he was close to Aaaaaaahnold or Bustamante in the polls, I'd vote for him (if I could) but not enough people are going to vote for him for him to have a chance, so...

So does that mean he now needs to watch out for stray bullets, airplanes falling from the sky and girls carrying his illegitimate child drowning too! :eek2:

Watch out for the politics guys. If this heats up any more, please take it somewhere else. I'm biting my tongue right now too; but I won't unload here.

Leo... apparently we had a person who a. had too much free time on his/her hands and b. has the mental maturity of a 4 year old who decided to register and try to bug people yesterday. I think the rest of us should be able to keep it civil, esp. since said user has been banned...
Anyhow, obviously the border doesn't have any kind of a neon sign on it (I was using an absurd example for effect). But, Bustamante is so much in favor of illegal immigration that he'd be quite happy to simply say that it's no longer illegal to come and go as you please without proper documentation. I realize we need some illegal workers to keep food prices where they are, but when you start talking about things like giving them drivers licenses and stuff, you're getting absurd.

Shucks...if only I didn't have to work, I wouldn't miss all the good bannings! And you guys didn't even leave me his posts to laugh at....:(

I missed it too... but some of his posts were up for a while..
basically all he said was "Get a life"
over and over and over again.
like i said... mental maturity of a 4 year old. Sometimes I think that the only reason people like that exist is so I can derive pleasure from "pumping them full of lead" with an AK-47, M16 or similar fully automatic weapon. Then I realize that that's illegal, so therefore, they have no purpose whatsoever. :D
