Over at the OCF forums, one of the team members stated a memorial wall thread, for us to remember our friends and relatives who are suffering with or have succumbed to the diseases that Folding@Home is helping reseach. I thought it would be a nice idea for a thread like that to be here for team 93 too, so here it is. This is a way for us to publicly remember our friends and loved ones who have had cancer, Alzheimer's Disease, etc and maybe help get more people interested in folding or remind fellow team members of some good reasons to fold.

Here's the thread (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=453184) at the overclockers.com forums. I've posted my relatives that I've lost or are suffering there and I will also post them here. You don't need to put full names like I did though; I did it out of my respect for the suffering that they went through.

This thread is for the folks we've lost or have suffered with F@H related disease:

My Grandfather, Adam Gautreaux, liver cancer, died 1963.

My little sister, Michaela Brennan, who suffers from severe chromosome 11-22.
My mother, Kathleen Brennann (Though she funtions normally in society), carried it to my brothers, Liam Brennan and Cameron Erb (Though they both funtion normally in society, Cameron suffers from depression and a dramatic stress disorder).
Everyday, I thank God that it skipped me completely, though I wish it hadn't touched my family at all.

Uncle Paul died of cancer on September 23rd 2006. No idea where it originated but he was diagnosed only a few weeks before he died. By then it had spread to every major organ.

I'll add the above to my list as being Jon's sister, they're my Grandparents too. (Thanks Jon, I didn't even know why they passed on.. now I know)

In memory of Radoslav Kovac (1963 - 2002).. a dear, dear friend of mine who passed away in 2002 from lung cancer. He was strong enough to give up smoking in 1996 but unfortunately he still endured smoke in the passive sense.

Love you Ray.
