The airport is ~40 miles from my house... In monday morning rush hour traffic, I think it will take at least an hour to get there. Probably an hour and a half :grr:

Then screw 'em - they can walk for all I care. :werr:

I didn't ask how far it was, I just said I'd try to help. Barring catastrophe, that is what I intend to do.

I was just letting you know that if you were trying to do me a favor by helping me get off the hook, it's not necessary. :D

If we can "find" a WiFi hotspot, we could skip the commute altogether and just hang out in the airport bar for the weekend.

Pure unadulterated monkey piss. :shakehead

I'll buy you guys a Sam Adams (http://www.samueladams.com/verification/) - I'm pretty sure that it's an American brew that will meet with the approval of you European guys. They took first prize in a German Beer competition with their "light" version, and their advertising likes to point out that their was no "light beer" category in the event.

How about some Pilsner Urquel? Or better yet we can find some oil cans of Fosters.

Or better yet we can find some oil cans of Fosters.

If Fosters is the Australian word for "beer" it must be the American word for "skunk". Then again, it's cheaper than Gatorade around here, so I have to give it the nod for that.

lol, MackanzOCZ I played BF2 on a plane and the captain came out and told me I had to stop playing that game on the plane, or they would take away my laptop :( I laughed and he muttered I am serious or against federal regulations, I guess it was a law or something. So this time around it will be UT2004 :)

I do feel sorry for you. The mere mention of a mist of rain is enough to delay the planes at IAH for hours. I've arrived there at mid day and left the next day. Bring some reading material and some PB&J's. It's gonna be a long day.

Sucks to be Prime :aol: ;D

Well then I guess I have ****ty luck. Both times I've went to Michigan passing through there I've had to stay for over 12hrs each time.

What airline you taking? I took Northwest and there was this guy at the gate that was always saying that the plane would be there in 15 mins. Got him both times and it was damn annoying. I've contemplated flying on a Sunday just to get a non-stop flight.

Uh, so I screwed up today. Apparently lunch at 11:15 isn't long enough to make check-in at the airport at 12:20. Actually, it's probably because I suspended better judgement and allowed myself to be talked into a sit-down meal. At any rate. AA 484 to Dallas, AA 514 to Detroit if I'm lucky, more later if I'm not.

Cell # is (512) 585-2054. If I'm on here it won't ring because I'll be using it as a cell modem.
