OK, I built this machine just in time for summer when I will never be inside.. Good job idiot.. So now I'm wondering what kind of return to expect on an investment like this if I decided to sell it.. But of course only to start a new build in the fall.. Again.. an idiot.. but all that aside what do you guys think a typical ebay price would be on this system..
Antec Lanboy
Antec True Power 2.0
ASUS A8n-SLI Premium
Opteron 165
Zalman 2 ball blue heatsink/fan
2g G Skill pc3200
WD 74gb 10k-rpm
XFX 7600gt udd3
Plus floppies.. burners.. bs..etc.
i don't think you will get nearly as much as you would hope...
my guess is $800-$900. 1k+ if you're lucky. might have better luck parting things out individually.
That's one sweeeet build. It seems criminal to get so little for a complete high-end system.
I would definitely try my luck and sell the parts off individually.
For some insane reason I have seen people bid more for a used item on e-bay than you pay for it brand new in the box from Newegg. :wtf:
Let the sun be in your face this summer.
Keep it, and have it for fun later.
Losing all that money, it ain't worth it.

I agree with Esso. It's only a couple months. Your machine will still be kickin' pretty decently after that time.
