Will it be strictly BYOB or will there be some degree of coordination or just runamuckness at its best? I generally prefer decent wine but real good Beer is always a hit. I don't think I can afford the hard stuff I like at the moment and cheap liquor is the pits.

There is a really nice imported beer and wine store a few miles from my house. I generally run there when I want a beer (I am a beer snob like some of those europeans over there - american beer mostly sucks ass) If you want, I would be glad to give you a tour, Larry :D :rarr:

Prime, there's got to be some good microbrewhouses in Detroit. Heck, even little ole Eagle River, Alaska has a premium brewhouse. No, I don't like the American mass-production garbage beer either.

Is Corona Mexican? It tastes like piss.

I've wanted to try Dos Equis, but never had a chance. Any suggestions?

Corona is technically a Mexican beer, but they won't drink it there so they ship it here. I drink it, and enjoy it, if and only if I've loaded it up with a ton of lime.

I recommend Negra Modelo. It is the Cadillac of Mexican beers.

And as for Corona, I'll drink it if someone else has purchased it for me and it was the only thing available. Or it's the only free thing. Or if I've had quite a bit before it. And it HAS to have a lot of lime like you said. Corona's were everywhere Friday, so I had a few. I realized again how much I dislike them.
