Hi...it's been a long time since I posted. I made a website for the first time, I make handcrafted jewelry. Yesterday I went to search on my name "Crisellen" to see what pages came up on the search. I found all kinds of websites that I never linked to referencing my website and linking back to me. Most of them are for drugs, sex, poker and quoting me saying things I never posted. Is this because of a virus? I ran all kinds of spyware checks, but only tracking cookies came up. It really makes me sick seeing all of the sites, one was even for pedifiles and underage sex. What can I do??? I've tried researching things and domain names, but I'm going nowhere. I want my name off of these things, but I feel so helpless...

Thanks... Christine

The adult sites you are talking about may have placed "Crisellen" in their meta keywords, so that a search engine will produce their URL when this word is searched. There could also be a possibility that these adult sites that are produced have the word "Crisellen" in them, so Google picked up the site.

quoting me saying things I never posted.
I didn't find this in Google. Why don't you give me the link (Please disable it by putting a blank in between so that users do not accidentally click it)?

In any case, I don't think that this is due to a virus.
