Okay, I'm going to try Google Calendar for this event, since it seems like a good fit.
The Flight Arrivals and Departures Calendar (http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/d4ef624n8986pj0oi1p1uv5qts@group.calendar.google.com/public/basic).
The SM LAN Primary Events Calendar (http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/hksuv36t4oealunl8kmh0b7si0@group.calendar.google.com/public/basic).
The Gaming Schedule (http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/2fcftlvhcj1ngberkrkjh6f90s@group.calendar.google.com/public/basic).
The Secondary Events Calendar (http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/t4o1oggr2j2ipmrifkodbrp4f0@group.calendar.google.com/public/basic).
If anyone besides me wants iCal formatted URLs, let me know.

BTW: Those are XML feeds. They are not URLs. I'm trying to figure out how to find the direct http URLs for the calendars.
//edit:
Ah, you need to have your own Google Calendar - then you can subscribe to those feeds.
Instructions here. (http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=37100)

We're staying in the Kalamazoo area Wednesday night. We'll eat breakfast and finish the rest of the trip Thursday morning. Mike's driving so I'd imagine we'll be there ontime.

Just go to the airport. The LAN has been moved there!
Psssst! Don't tell Brian but we have unoffically moved it as there is more room and no dog.

I just figured this out - by putting the Google calendar into "Next 4 Days" mode and selecting the 22nd, you can get Thursday-Sunday to display at the same time, without wrapping week-to-week.
Maybe I'm slow, but it just started bugging me enough to need to look at the next week to see Sunday's events that I started poking with the Google calendar interface.
//edit: Even better: You can go to Settings and change the "Custom View" field from "Next 4 Days" to "Next 5 Days" or whatever you want - this shows all the LAN events Thursday-Monday on one screen.:vimp:

I finally got around to checking the calendar, and it seems that the festivities will actually continue until at least June 28th.

I've switched things around. i think having two RTS tournaments in the same day would be quite tiring.
BFME2 has been moved to friday evening
BF2 has been moved to Saturday evening
Team 93 strategy meeting has been moved to Saturday evening

Man, I wish I could stay that long! We'll have to do something as an early b-day for Brian while we're still there.
//edit: Also, I've determined that I will be leaving home at around 5PM on Thursday the 22nd. That places my arrival at about 10:30 PM. I will possibly have CB and sharkydart riding with me.

So are we going to have the drawing for the PC games as prizes on Friday before the tourney starts? I would participate in the BFME2 tourney if I was fortunate enough to win a copy...

17 May 2006, 04:32 AM
Might just be a good idea :)
primesuspect
17 May 2006, 04:37 AM
That sounds like a decent idea, crazyjoe :)
The only problem I can forsee is that if anybody wins a copy and wants to play in the tournament after they win a copy, they won't have had any time at all to practice, really.
Crazy Joe
17 May 2006, 06:55 PM
Well for me my participation is based soley on if I win a copy of the game, if I win a copy, I'll play, and if I don't then I don't have a copy of the game so I cannot participate...
GHoosdum
17 May 2006, 07:07 PM
You can enter the tourney if I win a copy of the game, too, Joe. Although, if winning a game takes one out of the running for the hardware prizes, I don't want to win. ;)
If winning one prize takes you out of the running for the rest of the prizes, then we should award the best prizes first :P

Well, usually the way we've done it is that if you win one of the minor prizes, you're out of the running for the rest of the minor prizes (like, if you won a VFD, you can't win a speaker-backpack-thingy) but then everyone goes back in to be eligible for the grand prize. I'm not sure what the case will be this year.
primesuspect
17 May 2006, 07:48 PM
That's probably what we'll do... The grand prize - everyone will be eligible for it.
I think everyone should be eligible for the xbox 360 too.
Crazy Joe
17 May 2006, 08:07 PM
I'm good for everyone being eligible for the 360 and the Server... (Unless I haven't won anything else by then, in that case I think people that have won stuff already should be disqualified... :))
Sledgehammer70
17 May 2006, 08:09 PM
I think the Graphic Cards should be a grand prize also! I would kind of suck for the guy who won the Graphic's card to walk away with that and a 360 or a server.

Also prime my Flight is slated to land at 11:15am not 8:00am and my flight leaves at 6:00pm on that monday, unless we need to leave to the Airport 3 hours early.
So no gaming Sunday? some 1/2 life DM? maybe I teach you how to play BFME2 workshop :)

I know, it was just too easy... :-) I was a bit confused about that the first time they mentioned the airport there in this season of 24 (There was a terriorist attack at the Ontario Airport at the beginning of this season)... I was like why would CTU Los Angeles just randomly have the blueprints for an airport in Canada...
