What are the rules of the tourney. Will everyone have to start a new Homecity at the beginning of it?

I'd certainly recommend new home cities, either at the beginning of the tournament, or at the beginning of every game. I wouldn't feel it would be fair playing my level 18 Home City against somebody who just installed that game that morning...

*sigh* The smack-talk has arrived. Yay.

I, for one, get my enjoyment out of playing a game, not strictly from winning, from pwning n00bs, or whatever. I try to never smack-talk, because if I smack-talk I either wind up taking away from others' enjoyment of the game and looking like a sore winner, or I end up looking like an idiot when I lose.

It's altogether a more enjoyable experience if everyone practices good sportsmanship, plays to have fun, and tries their best to not say things that will make others feel bad.

I agree 100% with ghoosdum. Smack talk is just kind of sad :(

Smack is fine if it's in fun. I stink at most of these games... Have you actually seen me fly a BF2 Helicopter? Not a pretty site, I tell you. I had my BF2 Chopper license revoked in 32 states. :D But I am getting better.

Bragging and talking Smack SHOULD be different. I know that Prime is a bit better than me in UT, but that makes it fun to go against him since we're not experts. Going against an expert solo, like sharkydart, was funny but not a competition. If Sharky had told me upfront that he was gonna seek me out and make me an example of why balding guys shouldn't play UT.... well, the fun would have been diminished.

Just play, if you lose, move on. If you win, also move on.

sharky plays UT2K4 better when his PC is BSODing than I play on my best day. Yet he's the most humble guy I've ever met. He has never once said anything that would in any way indicate that he even acknowledges his l33tness. So if he did say he was going to seek you out and make an example of the bald guy, I would probably laugh so hard I'd completely lose bowel control.

I'm betting that Perry is 100% better this year than last year... Meanwhile, I'm 23.5% worse... which would put him about 113.67% better than me now!!! :D
