Had a virus in System32/xvid.dll - trojan banco and bought Panda 2006 Antivirus. It found the virus and neutralized it and requested restart.
On restart the desktop background appeared then Windows Welcome screen opened with profile Ben to choose (used to start straight to desktop no profiles)
When clicked the desktop image appears but no icons then it says logging off and goes straight to the profile screen again in a loop.
I have the Windows CD but do not know Dos commands to boot the ini file etc
Any help greatly appreciated.
