OK, I like my cats... they're funny to watch chase the laser pen and, if you have a nice cat, they are nice have purring next to you. That said.... These are some ugly cats. AP chooses this picture as the header for a Cat Pagent in New York... The first cat may be the best looking hairless cat but it's still ugly IMHO.

I've always been intrigued with the Sphynx breed (1st & 4th pics); they're not "cute" per se in my eyes, but have very captivating personalities. And I'll be missing this year's show as well. dang. :(

Close enough, I knew what you meant. :) They are gorgeous and you'd be surprised what you can teach a feline. It takes patience, but well worth it.

Gee whiz! I think my cat would eat those hairless ones. Here's my 24 pound cat, "Mr.Wooley", he's a Maine Coon Cat and our newest addition "Tigger".

Cat piss, now that's something that never comes out of the carpet!

We've had cats before, but only had one cat for a prolonged period. I do not think I'll ever have another cat.

Our cat (Harry) died

Third cat down doesn't look bad.

If the cat pisses on your carpet, it's really your fault. You didn't train them to not do it.

We've had cats for 23 years, and never pee on the carpet. Ever.

Cats usually go outside their box if there's been an upset in their surroundings; to get attention; or simply because their ill and can't make it to the litterbox. And once they go outside the box, it's quite difficult to get them to go back to using their box as they return to the "scene of the crime" because of the scent, or should i say odor.

Damn Thrax, that's a lot of cats. When I lived with my parents we always had cats.... Started with two when I was born, eventually ended up with five. :D Then the two original cats died when they were both 22 years old, and we got two new kittens... They still have five cats. My cat still lives with them, too. She's the oldest now, 13 1/2 years old. The others are all youngsters... 4, 3, 1 and 1 respectively.

Mrs Khaos and I have two cats here in TX, or at least we had two. One hasn't showed up for almost 2 weeks now. We think the coyotes got him. :\ The remaining cat is about 6 months old now.

So I guess if you count both households, I had 7 cats for a while there. LOL. I like cats. And dogs.

Wasn't there an S-M pet thread going at some time?
